His parents made him write his name in the different marriage beaures of the region.
As soon as his registers his name, he starts getting different proposals from different girls.
At first, he finds this fascinating to talk with every girl he meets.
But as the time passes, he finds this way to boring and gradually he starts receiving lesses responses.
On one day, he gets a pop-out message from the girl named Khushi.
He starts talking and chatting to her.
    Khushi lives in Gurgaon.
After certain period of time, both got involved in each other.
A time comes where Ravinder gets transferred where Khushi lives..
On the first meeting, both Ravinder and Khushi so much get into each other that they planned to meet often.
Khushi informs her parents about Ravinder where the forture was on her side where as they also agrees for Ravinder.
After a periods of time, Khushi was coming back from her work and she had hired a cab to drop her at her place.
On the same day, Ravinder was feeling very uneasy and he made bunch of calls to her but she was busy working so didn't revert her.
At the end of day, Khushi finally replies by telling that she is in the cab going back to her place.
While talking, an accident took place where the driver gets expired on the spot at the time & Khushi gets admitted at hospital.
Disheartend Ravinder prayed continusuouly for 2 days and he decided to be at the same hospital where Khushi is lying.
While in the bus where Ravinder was going, he had a nap and got a nightmare of Khushi suggeting to take care of himself.
At a moment he opens his eyes, gets a call from Khushi's dad that she passes away.

Story tells that after couple of months, when he was sitting all alone in the park recalling the memories of Khushi,
he sees a cute little girl playing and he asks her her name.
Girl's mom comes and Ravinder was taken aback when he came to know that little girl's name is Khushi.

This whole story was spoken by Ravinder on the on-air radio station and then the book got published.
He was so attached with Khushi that he didn't even bother to notice any other girl after the death of Khushi.

Tere jaane ka kuch aisa hua asar, tujhe dhundte dhundte maine khudko pa liya!
The above line emphasizes that on the presence of Khushi, he was just a layman doing the same job but after she goes, he becomes an author and the life gets turned up!
